The process of formation is the responsibility of everyone in our parish: priests, staff, ministers, parishioners as sponsors, godparents, volunteer catechists, and especially parents sharing our faith by doctrines of our Catholic faith, prayer experiences, by telling our witness stories about God’s love in our daily life. Using questioning and answering techniques, media, group sharing and other activities, that’s really what happens in religious education! It doesn’t happen overnight, or in one year, but rather in a gradual process over years of a child’s maturing toward an adult catholic understanding.
