The 7th and 8th grade Confirmation students from OLV and GOH took part in a day of service.

The service projects they completed included painting pillowcases for the pediatric patients at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, painting wooden trays for homeless men so they have a place to put their food and drink.

Students also painted door hangers for the residents of the Meadows, packed bags for the homeless, and the pathways at Mercy Center will look a little brighter with painted rocks done by the students.

Carol Carroll, Missionary  Liaison for OLV and GOH talked with students about the plight of the homeless. Students offered up prayers for those who will receive these gifts.  They also reflected on how the projects they did will bring hope and joy to others.
